Have a safe Halloween

Here are a few safety tips, from the center of Disease control, to help make the festivities fun and safe for trick-or-treaters
  • Swords, knives, and other costume accessories should be short, soft, and flexible.
  • Avoid trick-or-treating alone. Walk in groups or with a trusted adult.
  • Fasten reflective tape to costumes and bags to help drivers see you.
  • Examine all treats for choking hazards and tampering before eating them. Limit the amount of treats you eat.
  • Hold a flashlight while trick-or-treating to help you see and others see you. WALK and don't run from house to house.
  • Always test make-up in a small area first. Remove it before bedtime to prevent possible skin and eye irritation.
  • Look both ways before crossing the street. Use crosswalks wherever possible.
  • Only walk on sidewalks whenever possible, or on the far edge of the road facing traffic to stay safe.
  • Wear well-fitting masks, costumes, and shoes to avoid blocked vision, trips, and falls.
  • Eat only factory-wrapped treats. Avoid eating homemade treats made by strangers.
  • Enter homes only if you're with a trusted adult. Only visit well-lit houses. Never accept rides from strangers.
  • Never walk near lit candles or luminaries. Be sure to wear flame-resistant costumes.

Step 3: Choose a color.
I chose emerald green but you can choose any color you want.
Take the black and white pastels, too.

Step 4: Start shading in from the inside. Take the main color and start from the center of the piece. Start dark and get lighter as you come outward or visa versa.
*tip: to do blends, don't use you're fingers, use the pastels themselves, circular motions are the best to use, to blend and your color and black, use your color, to blend white and your color, use white.

Step 5: Finish it up.
Keep interesting till the end.
Don't worry if mistakes happen, the colors will cover them up at the end.
The end result may look something like this.

Step 6: Let the pastel set for about 24-72 hours.

Then you are done! This art piece will look very chic and modern in your home. Hope you love the design, I welcome your feedback, thank you.
